All it Takes is 68 Seconds to Activate the Magnetic Law of Attraction!

The law of attraction says that when you think about something with great joy and attention for at least 68 seconds, you will create a magnetic attraction or energy that draws that experience into your life. The ability to attract desirable circumstances into our lives is a great gift however if you are depressed and sad and focus on that, you will attract more of the same. Develop skills to deal with challenges. All too often, we forget what we have to be thankful for. We focus on what we don’t have. Everything is based on our perspective. We need confidence to change our strategies for growth. View challenges as an opportunity to grow stronger, to learn more, to be a good friend or mentor to others! All exponential growth in technology, in our personal lives and in business comes when people have to work harder, together to make it through a challenging situation.

Learn how to meditate as it is a powerful tool for relaxation and stress relief! Keep in touch with friends. Choose activities that bring you joy. Learn how to forgive and forget.

“Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend – or a meaningful day.” ~ Dalai Lama

With less stress in your life it makes it much easier to master your emotions. Then with joy and abundance in your thoughts, the magnetic law of attraction will bring you success beyond your wildest dreams.

I know so many people who live in quiet desperation. The sense of community that existed years ago seems to have vanished. More people live in large homes now and everyone sits at the computer or watches TV, all in different rooms. Isolation and depression can easily creep into our lives and yet we barely notice it. The childish joy we once experienced in our youth now seems nonexistent.

Imagine you can sense that joy bubbling up again. Put a smile on your face and think about a time you experienced unbridled bliss. What were you doing that day? Relive that moment, feel the excitement, see the scenes in your mind, smell the aromas in the air. Can you feel a change in your physiology?

Experience the law of attraction … be aware of your thoughts! If you think fat, you cannot attract thin. If you feel poor, you cannot attract prosperity. You will notice that poor people hang out with poor people and wealthy people associate with the wealthy. You are what you think about all day long. What you think about is what you draw into your life. You are a magnet that grows stronger with the intensity of your thoughts. The longer you focus on something, the greater the likelihood of it manifesting in your life. Think about positive futures and enjoy visualizing the excitement when your outcomes turn up in your reality. Visualization and the strong emotion of excitement and anticipation is the key to your success. Every moment of every day you are creating your future. Make it a fabulous one; full of success and prosperity in whatever your heart desires!

5 Tips to Getting the Best Possible Reading From Your Psychic Advisor

5 Tips to Getting the Best Possible Reading From Your Psychic Advisor
5 Tips to Getting the Best Possible Reading From Your Psychic Advisor

These 5 tips will get you the best possible reading from your psychic advisor. Taking a few minutes to clarify what you want to achieve in the call, yields far better results in content and accuracy. This also provides the start of documentation which is critical in order to see the progress you make for each question you have.

1) Have your questions prepared in advance.
This allows you to get the answers that are most valuable for you. It also gives your advisor the opportunity to tune in more specifically to the information. General readings are just that, general and they may be what spirit deems you need to hear however it may not be at all what you are concerned about at that particular time.

2) Be clear on your intention when asking your questions.
Are you looking for guidance with an open mind and heart or are you calling numerous advisors until one of them gives you the answers you want to hear?
Is this a win/win situation for you and the advisor or are you testing her/him? Your intentions will guide your advisor… truth allows clarity… while deception creates falsehoods.

3) Listen carefully to what is your advisor is saying.
Before asking another question or making a comment, listen carefully to what is being said. It may not be what you want to hear. If that is the case, sit with the answers for a few days and ask why they are not what you want to hear. An advisor who changes what they say initially to accommodate your desire to hear something different, does not have your best interests at heart. It is in times of challenge and pain that we grow the most. What I attempt to do is help you understand how you can best grow through these situations. Let’s face it, if everything was great in your life, you would probably not be calling.

4) Keep notes.
Notes help you see or track what progress has been made. I have had clients call with exactly the same question time after time. Truly, I would love in a perfect world, to be able to tell you that he is going to call tonight, you will get the job, your money situation will improve, etc. For things to change, you must change! By journaling daily about what is happening in your life, you will see opportunities for growth and in making those changes you will be aware of an improvement in your situation. Keep in mind even the smallest of events can signal a change for the better. Someone buys you dinner or you find some money in a pocket …your finances have changed. Be thankful for the small things and larger surprises will begin to manifest for you.

5) Wait for the events to play out before calling again.
You will find over time that patience is paramount to getting what you want. It implies peace and confidence in the universe or God. By constantly agonizing over something, you cut off the “flow” and inhibit the manifestation of your wishes and dreams.

Working with a psychic advisor gives you insights into patterns or changes that need to be made for personal growth. Once the call is over, make a few notes on how you felt about the information received. Be sure to update your journal over time indicating any breakthroughs or ensuing results. The end of the call signifies your work is just beginning.

The Power of Self Mastery

The Power of Self Mastery …if you could have anything you wanted in life by committing to a plan for 30 days, would you take on an audacious challenge? Tao Te Ching once said “Mastering others is strength. Mastering yourself is true power.”

The Power of Self Mastery is Determined by Your Attitude
Tony Robbins once remarked that he felt his success is due to the fact he is able to control his emotions. How we react to a situation is usually based on how we feel about ourselves and what we feel we deserve. Do you shrink from adversity or view it as a way to grow in strength and skill. Do you see yourself winning or losing? Are you prepared to make things work or do you feel that it’s not worth the effort. Whatever you believe is usually what will come to pass. You, too, have the opportunity to grow in the power of self mastery.

Now I want you to think back to a time when you made a decision to do something and didn’t complete it. Did you use the power of self mastery?
•A business goal
•A personal goal
•A challenge that was thrust upon you unceremoniously
What did it take to stop you from achieving it; criticism from someone, a difficult boss, a personal loss? I want to repeat “Mastering others is strength. Mastering yourself is true power.”

The Power of Self Mastery …Change your Mind and Change your Life
When you create positive habits that will change your life you will be inspired by the results! It takes 21 days to change a habit however you must believe that the results will be worth the effort to make the change. How much do you really want it and why do you want it. The power of self mastery is evident in self help guru, Tony Robbins. He says, unless the pleasure of achieving it exceeds the pain of not doing it, chances are it will be like the results of most New Year’s resolutions. You must have leverage so that the short terms sacrifices are worth the gain.

The next step is belief. Everything created in this world started with an idea. An idea that blossomed in someone’s imagination long before it became a reality. The ability to dream and see the future before it happens are the reasons we have such amazing technology today. To believe it is possible and work until it is completed, is the step most people leave out. The “knowing” that it is a done deal and that it is a reality, in one’s mind, is essential to the final completion of the goal. The power of self mastery, mastering your emotions, your time, your money, is that you will truly direct the course of your life.

The state of your life is nothing more than a reflection of your state of mind.
–Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

Are 68 Seconds Worth It to Magnetize Your Future with the Law of Attraction!

Are 68 seconds worth it to magnetize your future with the Law of Attraction? Ever caught yourself complaining about something…and it went on for five, ten minutes or more? Do you realize what you have done in those few minutes? You have activated the Law of Attraction to bring you more of the same “stuff” you’ve just been complaining about.

Have you ever wondered why things don’t change for you? For one week, write down what your predominant thoughts are during the day. These are the ones that cause you to become passionate about something. Passion about what you love or what makes you furious triggers the magnetic force of the universe.

Every time you think or discuss with passion for at least 68 seconds you create what Abraham calls “rockets of desire.” You put into escrow all those things that are just waiting to manifest for you. By choosing your thoughts and emotions more carefully you change your outcomes.

Our emotions are a tool to help us discover where we are putting our energy. By identifying your most predominant thoughts, you can choose whether or not they serve you. Are the results you are seeing in your life, positive or negative? Do you have satisfying relationships, financial abundance, and a healthy, strong body or are your relationships stressful and full of anger, your finances a disaster, and are you overweight and unhealthy. Every day you choose what you focus on, don’t you?

Look at the people you hang out with. Are they positive and successful or are they the “complainers” around the water cooler? Describe the success quotient of the five people you hang out with the most. Are they people you aspire to be like? If not, look for enthusiastic, focused, successful people to cultivate as friends. Keep in mind what positive qualities you can offer them with your friendship… they may be searching for a quality circle of friends too!

The Law of Attraction tells us that just 68 seconds of focused, passionate thought and visualization on your desires will draw to it another thought about how good it could be, and another thought of what that would mean to you and your family, and another thought about how good it would feel and so on. The passion continues to grow and the “rockets of desire” shoot off, drawing to you those very things. Ultimately what shows up in your life is your choice. What passions will your 68 seconds of visualization magnetize and manifest for you today?

The state of your life is nothing more than a reflection of your state of mind.
–Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

Now is the only time there is. Make your now wow, your minutes miracles, and your days pay. Your life will have been magnificently lived and invested, and when you die you will have made a difference.

The Law of Allowing

The Law of Allowing
The law of allowing enables us to powerfully and passionately permit our focus with the law of attraction to become a reality. We were born into an environment where we all have choices. This is the beauty in our world which gives each us the opportunity to find our passion, our calling. You are here to work on yourself. You are perfect in every way and can be happy with what you have created. If there are things you would prefer were different then you can be thrilled to know that you can create that reality as well. It is a process of continual growth.

The Law of Allowing Others
Diversity creates a marvelous opportunity for growth. You are not here to change others. Accept that you can allow others to be as they are, to believe as they do. The only person you can effectively change is yourself. In changing the way you relate to others you in effect change the way they relate to you because you have upset the balance in the way you interacted with them before. In accepting others as they are, you allow them to grow and to learn for themselves. The law of allowing loves diversity!

The Law of Allowing Yourself
Many successful businesses that are passed to the next
generation slowly decline. The passion that built the company is not there unless those next in line are passionate about the work. If they are not, the successors take for granted what was given to them and the profits drop. So it is with our growth. Passion is the juice that makes it fun.

The law of allowing requires that you feel good. I was working as designer for a ladies wear company and I had a dream one night. The office I was in was identically to the one I went to every day with a couple of exceptions. Everything and everyone in the room was in black and white and there was a door in the corner that opened up to a glorious sight. Through the door I could see green fields, a beautiful flowing brook, deer, birds and butterflies all in living color. When I woke up the next morning I realized that the job and the people I worked with were sucking the life out of me. There was a lot of backbiting and negativity in the workplace. It took me two minutes to decide to give my notice and look for other employment. My mood improved and I got excited about the opportunities that lay around the corner for me. Success is not measured in money if you lose yourself along the way.

The Law of Allowing Abundance
The Law of Attraction says that you attract those things and events in your life correspond to your beliefs of worthiness and deserving.

The Law of Deliberate Intent tells us that we are creating at all time whether or not we believe it this to be true and that we can deliberately choose what will enter our lives.

Once you understand these two laws you will want to work on law of allowing to let the abundance in. The trick here is to generate a feeling of well being or success that vibrates through out your body. Think about the feeling you get when you first fall in love, it courses through your body and the results are unmistakable. You glow with anticipation and excitement! By remembering a time when you felt incredible, you can recreate that feeling while anticipating the fun, joy, excitement of recognition you will achieve when you have reached your goal. The law of allowing makes your emotions work for you in a very beneficial way.

Imagine designing a life using the law of attraction and the law of allowing instead of taking what comes your way. What if, by simply changing the way your feel, you could create a miracle in your finances, your personal life, your career? Would you be willing to take the time necessary to still your mind and really focus on what makes you happy and build that vibration so that you can feel it coming to you? I know it works.

Someone once told me, “Don’t try to get the big goal with the law of attraction, right away. Play with some little ones. It will build your confidence when you see this truly works!” I sat there in Starbucks mulling this over and though that most of the people coming in seemed very low key, no smiles. So I started to get the vibration, the buzz going and focused on the fact that the next person walking through the door would look at me and smile. A man walked in, looked straight at me, smiled and said, “Good morning.” What a rush! Ok, but that could be coincidence. I agree, it could be.

Then I decided that I would buy a scratch and win lotto ticket and that I would win a small amount.. two dollars would be fine! First I had to get the buzz going. It’s a good thing you can do this quietly and no one can tell what you are doing or the other patrons in Starbucks would have thought I was off my rocker. Over to the corner store, I walked, vibrating all the way. If this works it could be powerful don’t you agree? I entered the store and looked at the tickets, picked one and laughed at myself for being so gullible.

I started to scratch it and what do you know… I won two dollars. Now you are probably thinking, “What’s two dollars?” The amount is not what is important, the fact it worked is!
On my walk home I focused on feeling good, on letting the law of allowing work for me. “I want a customer to place an order”, I thought. I could see the order and the money and that vibrations was strong. On opening my email, it was there, the order form a client who I hadn’t heard from for awhile. These three small incidents with the law of allowing, right in a row, indicate to me that we have far more power than we give ourselves credit for. We just need to tap into the universe, give ourselves permission to feel good on a daily basis and enjoy the success it brings. I know the law of allowing works. Are you willing to give it a try?

The Law of Attraction!

The Law of Attraction!
What is the law of magnetic attraction and how is the law of attraction working in your life? What you think about, you create.

Poor People
One day the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of showing his son how poor people live. They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On the return from their trip, the father asked his son, “How was the trip?”
“It was great, Dad.”
“Did you see how poor people live?” the father asked.
“Oh yeah,” said the son.
“So, tell me,” asked the father, “what did you learn from the trip?”

The son answered, “I saw that we have one dog and they had four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon. We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight. We have servants who serve us, but they serve others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them.”
The boy’s father was speechless.
Then his son added, “I always thought we were the wealthy ones!”
All too often, we forget what we have to be thankful for. We focus on what we don’t have. Everything is based on based on our perspective and our confidence to change our strategies for growth. See challenges as an opportunity to grow stronger, to learn more, to be a good friend or mentor to others. to others! All exponential growth in technology, our personal lives and business comes when people have to work harder, together to make it through a challenging situation.
The law of attraction says that when you think about something with great joy and attention for at least 68 seconds, you will create a magnetic attraction or energy that draws the experience into your life. This is a great gift to attract desirable circumstances into our lives however if you are depressed and sad and focus on that, you will attract more of the same. Develop skills to deal with challenges.

Learn how to meditate as it is a powerful tool for relaxation and stress relief! Keep in touch with friends, choose activities that bring you joy. Learn how to forgive and forget.
Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend – or a meaningful day. ~ Dalai Lama

We have more and more people living in large homes and everyone sits at the computer or watches TV, in different rooms. Isolation creeps into our lives and we hardly notice it. The joy we once felt as a child seems nonexistent.

The longer that you think about something, the greater the probability of manifesting it in your life. Think about positive outcomes and enjoy visualizing the excitement when your outcomes turn up in your reality. It’s the key to success. Every moment of the day you are creating your future. Make it a fabulous one full of success and prosperity in whatever your heart desires!

Intuition in Business

Intuition in business has emerged into the forefront lately. Some of our brightest and most well known people use it! Why… because it works!

Bill Gates – “Often you have to rely on intuition.”

Albert Einstein - ”The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will, and the solution comes to you and you don’t know how or why.”

Robert Graves – “Intuition is the supra-logic that cuts out all the routine processes of thought and leaps straight from the problem to the answer.”

Ingrid Bergman - “You must train your intuition – you must trust the small voice inside you which tells you exactly what to say, what to decide”

Albert Einstein – “The only real valuable thing is intuition.”

Intuition in business works miracles in any people related business due to fact that in most business situations there are hidden agendas. Trying to flush out that critical objection can be hazardous at best and if it stays hidden can scuttle a deal. Intuition in business is the edge you need over competitors. Once you have identified the type of prospective customer you are dealing with, you can then rely on your intuition to determine the information that they need to know which will in turn identify the benefits that will be most useful in completing the sale. Using your intuition will enhance your communication skill set and bring forth positive results. Sensing the best price to sell at or the reason behind a client’s hesitance will win you not only more clients but also a more successful career.

Michael Munn, Ph.D. used his intuition in business and is upfront about letting people know that he did. Munn is an award-winning engineer who has managed multi million dollar covert projects. As a former aerospace chief scientist for Lockheed, he and his teams worked on challenging technical problems. Because they worked on the cutting edge of science there was no one to follow. They had a program aimed at stopping Russian nuclear bombs in space. Munn credited their success to brief meditation sessions during the day. This allowed them to take the time to listen to their inner knowing and the resulting intuitions. Munn said, “How do I know the answers are there? I see pictures or movies or dreamlike sequences. I have an immediate inner knowing that this is the answer for which I was waiting. My intuition lets me know, ‘This is it!”’

Albert Einstein – “The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will, and the solution comes to you. You don’t know how or why.”

Intuition Defined

Intuition is typically information that arrives in a sudden flash, an “aha” or a clear sense of knowing without effort. The sense of intuition is often a superior cognitive sense that uses insights resulting from various areas. The sense of knowing is so complete that I am often in awe of the process. The rapid time frame in which it happens brings with it a sense of certainty regarding the favorable or unfavorable outcome in the future.

How to Cultivate Intuition in Business

Meditation …take the time to still your mind for short periods during the day. Transcendental mediation recommends spending 20 minutes in the morning and twenty minutes mid-afternoon to meditate. The more regularly that you practice, the greater the results you will see. Not only will your stress level be reduced, your blood pressure lowered, but your intuition in business will develop over time.

Keep a journal of insights that you have. Date the entries so you can look back and see if you were correct before the fact. I used to think I did not have an intuitive bone in my body until I started tracking my hunches. Written in black and white, it will be hard to deny the truth once you have enough instances logged. Anyone who has had “hindsight”, has intuition that they have been ignoring.

Pay attention to your body. Be aware of the way it feels on a good day. Notice where you hold tension and when. If you are attuned to the “feel” of your body day to day you will be more aware when intuition hits you in the “gut”. The solar plexus is generally where most people sense the physical forms of intuition. Because intuition in business or elsewhere is often very subtle, you must learn live in the present and in your body. It can be an exquisite tool for providing insights that will benefit you in all areas of your life.

Ask for feedback. If you sense something, ask a question that will allow you to determine if you have correctly intuited the situation. If it is a sensitive situation you may have to be careful in the way you word it however the feedback you receive is invaluable for your confidence in trusting your intution.

Listen to the still small voice within. The majority of people often have so much going on that taking the time to really listen gets lost in the clutter of day to day life. If the communication is too soft ask that the volume be increased. I have no idea how it works, I just know it does.

Get in the habit of playing small intuitive games with yourself to help build your skill level. Practice visualizing what your co-worker will be wearing when you get to the office. This is easily verifiable and will build your confidence. Intuit who is on the other end of the phone when it rings. Intuition in business is like any muscle, it can be exercised to strengthen it.

Most of all… have fun with it. Intuition is one of those things that will not not work if you try too hard. Be playful and relax and you will see results!

The Law of Attraction ~ How Do You Feel Love When You Have Been Betrayed?

The Law of Attraction ~ How Do You Feel Love When You Have Been Betrayed?

The Law of Attraction ~ How Do You Feel Love When You Have Been Betrayed?

How do you feel love when you have been betrayed? It’s easy to love someone when they are good to you. However when you have interactions with someone who irritates you and you “feel” that irritation every time you see them, guess what you are attracting… more irritation! You always have a choice in how to respond. Analyze what it is that annoys you and decide what would be the best way to act or respond before you speak. Learn to “act” rather than “react”.

Kind loving responses will draw more of the same to you as will angry outbursts however behaving lovingly to someone who has hurt or angered you, probably creates the one of the greatest challenges for most people. How can you reach a state of mind that allows you to respond in love? Abraham says it is as simple as reaching for a better emotion. Find something about that person to appreciate. Obviously you don’t like the energy or attitude emanating from this person however you may be able to appreciate the “passion” with which they deliver their message. Look for something no matter how small… it may be the way they dress, their punctuality, their persistence or their memory (and their ability to recall everything you have ever said or done).

Once you have found something you can sincerely appreciate without judging them at the same time, focus all your attention on that and watch your attitude shift. Remember the only person you can change is yourself. The “blame game” never works and breaking through an impasse often takes some creative thinking.

More often than not what angers or irritates us is a trigger to some event that hurt us in the past. An elderly friend of mine, a very gentle, kind woman, walked thru the church basement one day and came across some people in an AA meeting. She told me she instantly felt angry. She went upstairs and saw the pastor standing there. Instantly she blurted out, before she had time to think, “They should all be dead!” referring to the AA members. Embarrassed and ashamed, she apologized and said that she had no idea where that came from. When we discussed the situation later she talked about her step father, a man her mother was forced into marrying. He had been an alcoholic and tried to molest her and her sisters when they were very young. Although she had not thought of that man since she left home at 14, more than 66 years prior, the reaction she had was as fresh as the day when she caught him going after her sister.

Ask the right questions and you will get the right answers. The quality of your interactions depends on the quality of your words which depends on the quality of your thoughts. Reach for positive feelings about your adversary. Though their feeling towards you may not change, your ability to act in a positive loving way towards them will make your life more joyful and your relationships far more satisfying.

The Law of Attraction and the Poker Player

The Law of Attraction and the Poker PlayerYour intention, whether positive or negative, always activates the Law of Attraction. How can you tell if it is working effectively for you? Keep a journal. Every morning note your feelings and thoughts in a book that you use exclusively for that. Highlight sections that are highly charged emotionally. Highly charged feelings have the most power to draw things to you. Whether you consciously choose your points of attention or not, the Law of Attraction always works. If you are constantly reaping “crap” in your life, look back through your journal to see what your predominant emotions were over the last few weeks or months.

I know someone who was a very successful online poker player. “Was” being the operative term. In the beginning he, his wife and two children lived in the basement of his mother-in-law’s house. While playing online, his income grew dramatically to the point they were able to move into a beautiful home of their own in a nice area of town. Their third child was born. A couple years later they moved into a new home worth 1.5 million. He had arrived! …and so did their fourth child. Then he decided that playing online at home where he could interact with his wife and kids was no longer sufficient. He wanted to play at the casinos to liven up his experience. He had moderate success with tournaments around the world and at the WSOP. The partying and the women in Vegas became more important and he left his wife and kids.

He now had a hot new girlfriend that he spent copious amounts of money on. His wife filed for divorce and because she had four small children under the age of 8, she was awarded a significant amount of child support. The girlfriend was afraid her “cash cow” boyfriend (as she put it) was not going to have the same amount of money to spend on her and the lifestyle she had become accustomed to. Bickering and fighting became common in his new relationship.

My point is not about the divorce or the evils of booze and gambling. The change was in his mindset. When he first started to play they lived on a sparse income. He was extremely grateful for the increase in his income. He had a good life, a wife who loved him and four beautiful children. They could afford to travel and buy whatever they wanted. He affirmed their prosperity and good luck!

After his marriage broke up, he became greedy and begrudged his wife the child support she had been awarded. He didn’t want to spend time with his kids on his visitation days because now he had to make sure they were clean and fed and that they got to school on time. He began to complain bitterly. His wife had to beg him for the support money. “I don’t have any money,” he would complain. “I have to build up my bankroll again.” “I had to borrow money from my parents!” “I can pay a nanny $2000 a month to do what you do!” He became miserly, hiding his money, making excuses about lack and how she was “financially raping him.” Yet he still had the money for trips to France, England and the Bahamas with his girlfriend.

His attitude had changed from one of gratitude and love to one of greed and deceit. His story is one of “rags to riches” and back again. Although he has what he said he wanted, the Vegas lifestyle, a “VIP concierge for high rollers” as a girlfriend, is he happy? …is he making money? Does he have quality of life? Absolutely not!

In her settlement his wife got the house and sold it so she could move into a smaller home in their old neighbourhood. She is grateful for the fact that although the marriage ended she has four beautiful children and a home for them. She has a limited income right now but is getting more education. The kids are happy and healthy and are excited about their new home. It is on their old street and a lot of their friends still live there. She and the children are living a charmed although less affluent life.

The Law of Attraction works whether or not we believe it does. What are you grateful for? …and what do you affirm with highly charged emotions every day? Is it positive or is it negative. Pull out your journal and see how accurately your words, thoughts and emotions have created your current reality.

Biology of Belief

Albert Einstein said about intuition:

• “The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.”

Billionaire investor George Soros, (in his book Soros on Soros): when asked how he found out when things (i.e., his logic) were going wrong, responded “I feel pain. I rely a great deal on animal instincts. When I was actively running the Fund, I suffered from backache. I used the onset of acute pain as a signal that there was something wrong in my portfolio.” Soros takes positions on billions of dollars every day, relies on his intuition in business. The definition of intuition is instinctive knowing without the use of rational processes

How many of you are thinking that’s fine for them but I haven’t got an intuitive bone in my body!

Then let me ask you a couple of questions…

  • Have you ever, after something happened, thought to yourself, “I knew that or I knew that was going to happen?
  • Have you ever experienced déjà vu?
  • Known that your were going to get the job
  • If you answered yes to any of those then you have experienced intuition!

I took up meditation as a way to reduce stress in my life and found that it enhanced my intuitive ability. Having been raised with a strong Christian background, my interest in intuition raised some serious question for a number of family members. I came to realize that intuition was synonymous with the gift of knowledge in the Bible. What I have found is that most people are so busy they can’t hear the small still voice. When we feel that feeling in our solar plexus, our gut, we just drink some more pepto!

You can experience intuition in a number of ways

Clairvoyance – seeing a picture in your mind
Clairaudience – hearing a voice outside your head
Clairsentience – that gut feeling in the solar plexus area

How many of you have experienced that just before a draw was made and you won something? Intuition can be a partner in creating a better life for your self.

  • It can enhance better decision making. Start listening for the small still voice and trust your gut feelings.
  • The opportunity to relieve stress.
  • Less worry about how something might turn out.
  • Could mean an alternative to prescription drugs.

How can you cultivate intuition? Look for clues!

  • Create an intuition journal. You will be amazed how accurate you really are and how many experiences you have had once you write them down.
  • Practice imagining who is on the phone when it rings.
  • Play with it and don’t take yourself to seriously, a playful attitude allows intuition in, straining prevents it.

“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” ~ Albert Einstein

“You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover is yourself.” ~ Alan Alda
